The physical feel of the product hardware is outstanding. The look, the same. The ability to charge it with your lightening cable, heavenly.
The way it fouls up drag and drop, fatal flaw. The ability to double click a word in text and then drag it elsewhere is frequently broken depending upon the apps, and especially in Xcode. The ability to triple click a line of text and then drag and drop it is similarly flawed and broken in many apps. This is contrasted to the original MagicPad which works flawlessly in the same situations along with the current mouse as well as any other prior mouse.
If the new MacBook’s have the same trackpad, then I will be avoiding them and keeping my 2013 MPB Retina for quite a while… at least until they fix this. And unfortunately Apple is famous for only fixing things when pressed by reporting them as a security flaw.
